SHOP STEWARDS
FUSE has strategically placed shop stewards in all areas
across the district so that employees have someone near their work area that
they can go to in order to discuss union issues. The steward structure is set
up to give employees two different individuals that they can communicate
with: one located within the work area or building, and one located outside
of the work area.
Shop stewards are your link to the FUSE leadership. Stewards
serve a very important role in our union by being the eyes and ears of the
leadership. Stewards serve to communicate with the membership, identify
contract violations, and handle grievances.
