Sierra College

NEGOTIATING TEAM

FUSE has agreed to use the Sierra College Collaborative Process (SCCP) model to conduct collective bargaining negotiations with the District. In doing so, our Negotiating Team meets on a weekly basis to address contract issues. Currently, negotiations sessions occur each Wednesday of the regular academic year. These sessions are closed to non-negotiators.

Our Negotiating Team is made up of the Business Manager, FUSE President, and three negotiators appointed from the membership at-large. The Business Manager acts as Chief Negotiator for FUSE.

Negotiators are appointed by the Executive Board, for a term of three (3) years. Should a position be vacated, a new negotiator will be appointed to fill the remainder of that term.
