NEGOTIATING TEAM

FUSE has agreed to use the Sierra College Collaborative Process (SCCP) model to conduct collective bargaining negotiations with the District. In doing so, our Negotiating Team meets on a weekly basis to address contract issues. Currently, negotiations sessions occur each Wednesday of the regular academic year. These sessions are closed to non-negotiators.

Our Negotiating Team is made up of the Business Manager, and four negotiators appointed from the membership at-large. The Business Manager acts as Chief Negotiator for FUSE. The FUSE President also has the option of participating in negotiations.

Negotiators are appointed by the Executive Board, for a term of three (3) years. Should a position be vacated, a new negotiator will be appointed to fill the remainder of that term.
