E-Mail Campaign

here is the info for the E-Mail campaign to the Governor and Assemblyman Richman. We want to keep the pressure up.

Please tell your members to email the Governor and Assemblyman and tell them that their pension scheme eliminates a secure pension for millions of Californians and ends death benefits for the survivors of police and firefighter . Ask them to say something like: " We've heard the radio ads and can't believe you are getting rid of benefits for the men and women who put their lives on the line every day " Tell them to stop this nonsense, stop the bill and take the petition off the streets. Tell him this isn't reform, it's unfair, unnecessary and cruel. Let them feel your anger and demand that they stop. Don't let up now...keep the pressure going.

On-Line Activists Join Campaign
Against Retirement Privatization

On line activist organization Working Assets has joined the fight to stop Governor Schwarzenegger and Assemblyman Richman and their initiative to privatize California’s public pension system. Their poorly drafted measure ends death and disability benefits along with forcing cops, firefighters, nurses, teachers and scientists, into risky stock market retirement accounts.

Join the on-line fight to stop this risky scheme. Got to the Act for Change website today and sign the petition to tell the governor and his allies to stay out of public employee pensions.
