New Problem bill ACAX1 8CFAPR Pension Action Alert 3/29/05:Reminder: our radio spot began airing yesterday. Listen for the ads in your community. Call now and to let Governor Schwarzenegger and Assemblyman Richman know you are angry with their scheme to cut pensions. Tell them not to mess with death and disability benefits for police officers and firefighters. Please tell your members to email the Governor and Assemblyman and tell them that their pension scheme eliminates a secure pension for millions of Californians and ends death benefits for the survivors of police and firefighter . Ask them to say something like: " We've heard the radio ads and can't believe you are getting rid of benefits for the men and women who put their lives on the line every day " Tell them to stop this nonsense, stop the bill and take the petition off the streets. Tell him this isn't reform, it's unfair, unnecessary and cruel. Let them feel your anger and demand that they stop. Don't let up now...keep the pressure going.
